I am husband to a beautiful wife, and father to an amazing four year old daughter and newborn son.
This is my personal blog. Here I focus on the "Hard and Simple Things". The things that we all know will bring us satisfaction, happiness, and success and yet are often difficult to actually do. My posts span a few categories, Business/Leadership, Religion, Finances, Family and the occasional random thought.
My intention is to write about things that you and I both struggle with, hope for, and work towards. If you are trying to be a better parent, spouse, leader, or person in general, I think you will find this blog to be beneficial and encouraging.

My Bio
I am a farm kid, and proud of it. I was raised on a dryland wheat and cattle farm in Washington State. I have no desire to farm for a living, but am grateful that I was raised in that lifestyle.
I have held several jobs each in an effort to determine what I want to do "when I grow up".
I am in the beginning stages of starting my own business coaching soccer. You can see what I'm doing by visiting the After Practice Blog. I love teaching and coaching soccer. That is my passion and I am looking forward to making that a larger part of my life!
I have been married to my wife Lacie (Follow her on Twitter: @Laciesiever) for 4 years. We are the proud parents of a beautiful 3 year old daughter with another child on the way in December 2012. Lacie and I both grew up in Washington State and still reside here.
In my free time I enjoy doing all sorts of things; reading, soccer, deer and coyote hunting, shooting and paintballing to name a few. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have served as a full-time missionary, counselor and secretary in the ward Elders Quorum Presidency, ward missionary, and ward mission leader.
